Terms of Service
Last updated: September 23, 2026. This policy applies to Support14.com and its online customer-support services. It is written for a U.S.-based online service that may serve customers in other jurisdictions. A law mentioned below applies only when its legal scope and thresholds are met.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Support14.com. By creating an account, submitting a ticket, or using the support center, you agree to follow these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Support14.com may update these Terms as the service changes, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law. Users must have the legal capacity required to enter into an agreement in their jurisdiction.
2. Support service
Support14.com is a customer-support platform. Its purpose is to provide a structured way for customers to request assistance, communicate with support personnel, and review support history. Support is provided based on the products, services, businesses, or projects for which a customer is seeking assistance. Submission of a ticket does not guarantee a particular response time, outcome, refund, credit, repair, or technical result unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
3. Customer accounts
A customer must create an account to submit and manage tickets through the website. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You may not create an account using another person’s identity, impersonate another person, or intentionally provide misleading registration information. One person should not create accounts for abusive or deceptive purposes.
4. Passwords and recovery
Passwords are intended to be stored using protected one-way hashing rather than plain text. Customers should choose strong, unique passwords and avoid reusing passwords used for banking, email, or other sensitive services. If a password is forgotten, use the password-reset process. Support personnel should not need to ask for your current password. Reset links may expire for security reasons.
5. Ticket content
Tickets must be used for legitimate support purposes. Customers should describe issues accurately and provide information reasonably necessary for diagnosis. Do not submit passwords, full payment-card numbers, authentication secrets, private encryption keys, Social Security numbers, or unnecessary medical information. A ticket can be reviewed by authorized support personnel and stored as part of the support record.
6. Customer content and license
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the limited rights needed for Support14.com to store, process, display to authorized support personnel, back up, and transmit that content for operating the support service. You represent that you have the right to provide the content and that doing so does not violate law or another party’s rights. Support14.com does not acquire ownership of your business documents merely because you describe them in a ticket.
7. Intellectual property
The Support14.com name, logo, site design, original text, software, and other site materials may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted by these Terms, no license is transferred. Customers may use the support center for its intended purpose but may not copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected site materials except where applicable law permits.
8. Third-party services
The service may depend on third-party hosting, email delivery, DNS, security, analytics, or other infrastructure. Third-party services can have their own terms and privacy practices. Support14.com is not responsible for independent third-party outages or policies, although reasonable efforts may be made to restore service or provide alternatives. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not automatically mean Support14.com endorses their content.
9. Availability and maintenance
Support14.com is intended to be available on an ongoing basis but may be unavailable because of maintenance, security events, hosting failures, internet outages, software defects, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Support14.com does not promise uninterrupted availability or that every ticket will be resolved. Planned maintenance may occur without advance notice when security or reliability requires immediate action.
10. Prohibited conduct
You may not bypass authentication, probe restricted administrative areas, interfere with site operation, introduce malicious code, overload the service, access another customer’s account, harvest account information, or use automation in a way that materially harms the service. Attempts to compromise the platform may result in suspension and may be reported where appropriate. You may not use the support system for unlawful threats, fraud, harassment, phishing, spam, or infringement.
11. Accessibility
Support14.com aims to make customer-support pages usable by people with disabilities, including keyboard users and people using assistive technologies. The U.S. Department of Justice has explained that inaccessible web content can prevent people with disabilities from obtaining equal access to information and services. The Accessibility Statement describes the site’s approach and a process for reporting barriers.
12. Electronic communications
When you use the support center, you consent to receiving service-related electronic communications necessary to operate your account and respond to tickets. Marketing communications, if any, are subject to applicable law and opt-out requirements. The FTC explains that CAN-SPAM regulates commercial email and requires accurate sender information, non-deceptive subjects, and a practical opt-out mechanism.
13. Privacy
Information collected through the support center is handled under the Privacy Policy. Depending on the customer’s location and the facts of processing, laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, UK GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA, Brazil’s LGPD, or other local rules may apply. The existence and scope of a legal right depends on jurisdiction and legal thresholds. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
14. International use
Customers accessing Support14.com from outside the United States are responsible for complying with applicable local laws governing online conduct, privacy, communications, intellectual property, and consumer protection. Where mandatory local rules provide stronger protections than these Terms, those mandatory rules control to the extent required. International customers should not use the service in a way prohibited in their jurisdiction.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Support14.com does not warrant that support information will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Support responses may depend on information supplied by the customer and may not address issues outside the scope of the service. Nothing in this section limits a warranty or statutory right that applicable law prohibits the operator from excluding.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Support14.com and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the support center, including certain losses of data or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability imposed by mandatory consumer-protection laws or for certain intentional misconduct.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a customer agrees to be responsible for claims arising from the customer’s unlawful use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights, except to the extent caused by the service operator’s own unlawful conduct. This section does not eliminate rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
18. Suspension and termination
Support14.com may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, customers, staff, or legal rights, including for abuse, fraud, security threats, or material Terms violations. Customers may stop using the service at any time. Ticket records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
19. Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are intended to be governed by applicable U.S. law and the law of the state where the service operator is legally based, without improperly limiting mandatory consumer protections applicable to customers in other jurisdictions. Any dispute process must respect non-waivable rights. The operator may seek urgent relief when necessary to protect systems, confidential information, or intellectual property.
20. Changes and contact
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. Questions about the Terms should be submitted through the Support14.com support center. Customers should keep a copy of important support communications for their own records.
21. Customer support records
Support tickets are records of communications between a customer and the support team. Customers should understand that submitting a message creates a record that may be retained for service, security, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes. A customer should not use the support center as a private diary or as a place to store information unrelated to the requested support.
22. Response times
Unless a separate agreement states otherwise, Support14.com does not promise a particular response time. Priority selections help the support team understand urgency but do not create a contractual service-level guarantee. An issue marked urgent may still require investigation, third-party assistance, or information from the customer before it can be resolved.
23. Customer cooperation
Customers should provide accurate technical details and respond to reasonable follow-up questions. If a customer supplies incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory information, troubleshooting may take longer or produce an incorrect result. Support personnel may close or resolve a ticket when the requested assistance has been provided, the issue is no longer active, or the customer has not responded for a reasonable period.
24. Ticket status
Status labels such as open, in progress, resolved, and closed are operational labels used to organize support work. A resolved or closed ticket does not necessarily mean that every underlying issue has been independently verified. Customers can create a new ticket or reply to an available ticket when a problem returns, subject to the service’s workflow.
25. Account ownership
The email address associated with an account is an important recovery and communication channel. Customers should maintain access to that email address. Support personnel may use reasonable verification procedures before making account changes, especially when a request would change the email address or expose private ticket history.
26. No password disclosure
Support14.com should not require a customer to reveal a current password. If someone claiming to be support asks for a password, authentication code, or other secret, do not provide it and report the request through the support center. Password-reset processes are designed to allow a customer to establish a new credential without revealing the old one.
27. Backups and restoration
Support records may be included in backups used to restore service after hardware failure, software error, or security incidents. Restoring a backup can temporarily reintroduce records that were deleted from the live system. The operator should apply reasonable backup retention and deletion practices, but technical recovery systems can have different timelines from the live database or file store.
28. No guarantee of third-party compatibility
Support14.com may be accessed through many browsers, operating systems, devices, email providers, and networks. The operator cannot guarantee compatibility with every configuration. Customers should keep supported browsers and devices updated and should report reproducible compatibility issues so they can be investigated.
29. Legal compliance
The service is intended to operate consistently with applicable privacy, consumer-protection, intellectual-property, accessibility, electronic-communications, and cybersecurity requirements. Examples of relevant U.S. frameworks can include the FTC Act, CAN-SPAM, the CCPA/CPRA, the ADA, and federal and state laws addressing computer misuse. International customers may be protected by additional mandatory laws, including GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, LGPD, and local consumer-protection rules.
30. Severability
If a court or other authorized decision-maker determines that a particular provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to the extent allowed by law. The parties intend that invalid provisions be interpreted narrowly so that lawful protections remain effective without creating a broader restriction than permitted.
31. Practical customer responsibilities
Customers should keep their contact information accurate, protect their login credentials, use the support system for legitimate support needs, and retain important copies of their own records. Customers should also review support replies carefully and provide corrections when important technical facts change. These ordinary responsibilities help the support process remain accurate, secure, and useful.
32. Interpretation of customer rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove consumer protections, privacy rights, accessibility rights, or other rights that cannot legally be waived. Where a mandatory rule applies, the relevant provision of that rule controls to the extent of the conflict. The operator may update the wording of these Terms when legal or operational requirements change.
